Kruger products L.P., a Canadian household paper giant, has established a charitable partnership with one tree planted, which will plant 100000 trees in North America in the next three years.
Steven sage, vice president of sustainable development of Kruger products, said: "we know that the achievement of sustainable development can not be achieved by one measure alone, so we continue to invest in new opportunities to continuously reduce the environmental footprint. Fiber is crucial to our business. Therefore, we are committed to using this resource responsibly and seeking cooperation to further expand our sustainable impact."
The "plant a tree" logo will be marked on the new bonterra product line, which is packaged in plastic free packaging.
Ashley LaMontagne, manager of forest activities at one tree planted, said: "we thank Kruger products for its support. Through their reimagine 2030 initiative, we will plant more trees in North America and further achieve our goal of global reforestation."
